Hello, faithful donors to the CTK Blessing!
One thing that is true about the CTK Blessing is that it truly is a patchwork of beautiful contributions created throughout each year. Each of us are pieces of the fabric that God is weaving together to bless our community and neighbors in Whatcom County. Thank you for being a part of the 2025 tapestry by donating to the CTK Blessing. Here is just a snapshot of pieces of that beautiful tapestry.
Food Share & Farm
To call this year a record breaking year would be an understatement! We have knocked all of our previous records out of the park this year.
We distributed 176,667 lbs of fresh produce that was grown, gleaned and donated by local businesses
Over 1000 people visited the farm through field trips, service trips and tours
Item Of the Month Club collected 16,782 non- perishable items to tag along with the fresh food to feed our hungry neighbors!
Volunteers served over 8,000 hours to complete the process from seed to partner.
Response Team
The Response Team ministry has truly been responding to the needs of our community this year. From the floods to helping individual needs, our team has been serving our community and neighbors throughout the year!
We completed 17 projects this year which included 12 projects for our community partners, 2 projects with CTK ministries, and 3 projects for CTK attenders.
Response team helped 180 volunteers put their faith in action over the course of 2025
These volunteers served a total of 1780 hours in the community!
Your generosity makes it clear you care about meeting the needs of those in our community and we want to invite you to hear about how we plan to do that in 2026. On Sunday February 15, after either service at CTK Bellingham in Room 216, come ask your questions and learn more about what it means to serve as part of the CTK Response Team Ministry in 2026. This is also a great chance to bring along folks in your circle who need that extra nudge to get out and serve. Whether you’ve helped on dozens of projects with us or have never signed up for one, this is an opportunity to gather together as followers of Jesus who want to impact our community in tangible ways.
Partners
This year we found many little ways to help the community but also some really huge ways!
Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive sort was a huge project that took 362 people one week to sort 66,554 lbs of non perishable food. What an incredible way to say YES to our our community
Blue Skies Back to School Distribution was a huge success in partnering with our community and having CTK volunteers help 258 children shop for new back to school items. Each year using our building and our volunteers’ time in this way is such a help to the partner and many of our neighbors!
Our CTK Christmas Blessing was able to help 30 families this past Christmas feel a little extra love from their CTK family. This is just one way our church congregation gets to love each other and say, we see you.
None of this would have been possible without your donations to the CTK Blessing! So thank you for being a part of the tapestry God is weaving through all of us at CTK for our Community. As we look into 2026, we are excited for the things God is calling us to and hope you will continue to partner with us through your giving, and we hope to see you out in the field or on a response team project this year so you can experience just what your donation is offering our community!
So thankful for you!
