Lighthouse Mission Ministries Deep Cleaning & Drop Ceiling

Join us at the end of June as we scrub shower stalls, wash windows, and show the residents of Lighthouse Mission Ministries the dignity they deserve in a clean and cared-for space. Aha! Childcare Building Maintenance and Repairs

Some projects require lots of people to complete a large feat. Others require small teams with a myriad of skills to knock maintenance needs off a list. This Response Team will be tackling a diverse list of maintenance and repair work for AHA Childcare. AHA Childcare is a Christian-based, licensed daycare in Ferndale and supports the community through childcare, garage sales, food bank distribution, and by working with multiple other organizations across Whatcom County to support children and families holistically.

Keep Scrolling for More Ways to Serve!

  • The CTK Blessing team utilizes a crew of drivers for various serving opportunities of all shapes and sizes year round. Every Sunday there is a van that picks up a group from our local homeless ministry to bring them to church. From Spring to Fall our veggie van makes deliveries to Food Banks and food scarcity non profits in the county. Year round our Food Share ministry is making non perishable deliveries. And our amazing partners are always cooking up great ideas on other ways to serve. Like transporting shoes for a back to school distribution! There’s always a serving opportunity to drive around the corner. Interested? Email our Outreach Coordinator dayleeh@ctk.church

  • Volunteering with Cascade Connections is more than just lending a hand—it’s about building relationships, fostering inclusion, and empowering individuals with disabilities to live full and meaningful lives. Whether you’re passionate about advocacy, enjoy connecting with others, or simply want to give back to your community, your time and talents can make a lasting difference. Click here to learn more.

  • Started as a response to the major floods in 2021, Whatcom Long Term Recovery Group is the local organization focusing on providing coordination and recovery services to all impacted by disaster in Whatcom County. Volunteers with them will assist in an ever-changing list of things, including but not limited to muckouts, debris cleanup, and resource organization.

Because needs are constantly changing the best way to stay up to date is by following Whatcom Long Term Recovery Group on Facebook or by going to the community updates section of their website.
